چکیده
Frequency response analysis (FRA) is being employed worldwide as one of the main methods for internal condition assessment transformers due to its capability detecting mechanical changes. Nonetheless, objective interpretation FRA measurements still a challenge industry. This mainly attributable lack complete data from same or similar units. A large database can contribute improving classification algorithms and lead more interpretation. Due their destructive nature, deformations cannot be performed on real collect different scenarios. The use simulation laboratory transformer models necessary. research contribution based new method using Finite Element Method lumped element circuit obtain traces model at healthy faulty states, along with an optimization improve capacitive parameters estimated values. results show that measured simulated are in good agreement. Furthermore, were analyzed characterization faults variation element’s parameters. supports proposed generation frequency further classifying localizing windings. approach therefore tailored generating larger unique industrial importance academic significance.

Evaluation of Fracture Parameters by Coupling the Edge-Based Smoothed Finite Element Method and the Scaled Boundary Finite Element Method
This paper presents a technique to evaluate the fracture parameters by combining the edge based smoothed finite element method (ESFEM) and the scaled boundary finite element method (SBFEM). A semi-analytical solution is sought in the region close to the vicinity of the crack tip using the SBFEM, whilst, the ESFEM is used for the rest of the domain. As both methods satisfy the partition of unity...
